O Boticário: Loção Hidratante de Erva Doce
I have very dry and sensitive skin on my legs. They always feel dehydrated and itchy. Because of that, I am always trying new stuff and this aniseed lotion seemed interesting. I had never tried something with aniseed on it but was sold when founding out that it has a purifying and calming action. This is what Boticário has to say about it:

A pele das minhas pernas é muito seca e sensível. Sinto-a sempre desidratada e com comichão. Por isso mesmo, ando sempre à procura de coisas novas para experimentar e esta loção de erva doce pareceu-me interessante. Nunca tinha experimentado nada com este ingrediente mas ganharam-me quando soube que tem propriedades purificantes e calmantes. O que o Boticário diz:

It's a lightweight moisturizer, like most lotions tend to be. It does get absorbed rather quickly, which is something I like. I'm not so sure about the prolonged hydration, as I find myself reaching for it again after 24 hours (just like most moisturizers I've used). Regarding the scent, it does stay on for a couple of hours - doesn't bother me but I'm not a fan. I just don't get the point of putting perfume on body or face products as they are not useful and can harm sensitive skin. The best thing about this lotion, in my opinion, is it's calming proprieties. My skin is über sensitive after waxing and this is one of the few things that keeps it okay. This can be a nice year around moisturizer for those with normal skin and it gives you a nice cooling sensation during the hot summer days. For those with dry skin like myself, it's best if you use it only in the warmer months.
É um hidratante leve, tal como costumam ser a maior parte das loções. É absorvido depressa, que é algo que me agrada. Não estou tão certa quanto à hidratação prolongada de que a marca fala, uma vez que me vejo a usá-lo novamente ao fim de 24 horas (tal como com a maior parte dos hidratantes que já usei). Quanto ao odor, ele fica durante algumas horas - não me incomoda mas não sou fã. Não percebo o objectivo de pôr perfume em produtos para o corpo e para o rosto uma vez que não são úteis e podem prejudicar as peles sensíveis. Na minha opinião, o melhor desta loção é a sua propriedade calmante. A minha pele é super sensível depois de me depilar e este é um dos poucos produtos que a mantem bem. Este pode ser um bom hidratante para o ano inteiro para aqueles com pele normal e nos dias mais quentes proporciona uma sensação refrescante bem agradável. Para aqueles com pela seca como a minha, é melhor usarem-no apenas nos meses quentes.

1. Praça das Flores
Whenever I can, I spent the last hours of sunshine at Praça das Flores, a garden in Lisbon. It's beauty isn't particularly exciting but I love the fact that it is quiet. I usually just meet some friends for small talk and a coffee but sometimes I like to just sit by myself, read a book and listen to whoever is playing music - which is something that happens quite often.
Sempre que posso passo as últimas horas do dia na Praça das Flores, um jardim lisboeta. A sua beleza não é particularmente entusiasmante mas gosto do facto de ser sossegado. Geralmente encontro-me com amigos para um café e um pouco de conversa fiada mas por vezes também gosto de me sentar sozinha, ler um livro e ouvir quem quer que esteja a tocar - algo que acontece com alguma frequência.
2. Jerónimo's Monastery // Mosteiro dos Jerónimos

Há séculos atrás, Portugal, um pequeno país europeu, tornou-se extremamente rico ao viajar pelos oceanos, descobrindo "novas" terras, roubando-lhes as suas riquezas e escravizando e matando os seus povos nativos. Graças a essa riqueza, construímos monumentos enormes que, apesar das coisas horríveis que lhes estão associadas, são de uma beleza inquestionável. O Mosteiro dos Jerónimos é disso exemplo e é um dos motivos para visitar Belém.

Been having waaay too many of these latelly. But how can I help myself? This is one of the best chocolate mixture I've seen in a while.
Tenho abusado no consumo deste chocolate nos últimos tempos. Mas como resistir? É uma das melhores misturas de chocolates que tenho visto.
5. Scented candles from Zara Home // Velas de cheiro da Zara Home
Tenho andado um pouco obcecada por velas ultimamente, sempre que estou em casa há uma vela acesa. As velas da Zara Home vêm numa forma cilíndrica e têm vários cheiros. O Black Vanilla é o meu favorito, de longe. É uma pena não serem lá muito baratas...

O Boticário: Make B. Infinit Kaleidoscope Blush - Peach
Blush has only been one of those products that doesn't make me go crazy. I have a few, apply them daily almost as a mechanical tep, grabbing the nearest one and not really caring about it. It used to be something necessary (as if is something as a "mandatory makeup step" existed), whenever I applied makeup I had to put on blush, it was almost as if it was a rule that shouldn't be questioned. However, in the last couple of months I fell in love with a couple of blushes on my stash and started looking around for more. Today I'll be reviewing O Boticário's Make B. Infinit Kaleidoscope Blush in the color Peach. O Boticário says it has a smooth and ultrafine texture that adheres easy to the skin giving a natural look that lasts up to 12 hours.
O blush foi sempre um daqueles produtos que não me deixa particularmente entusiasmada. Tenho alguns, uso-os diariamente, quase como se trata-se de um passo mecânico, agarrando naquele que está mais perto e não lhe prestando muita atenção. Costumava ser algo necessário (como se isso dos "passos obrigatórios na maquiagem" existisse), quando me maquiava tinha de pôr blush, era quase como se fosse uma regra que não podia ser questionada. No entanto, nos últimos meses apaixonei-me por alguns que tenho na minha colecção e comecei à procura de mais. Hoje vou resenhar o Make B. Infinit Kaleidoscope Blush do Boticário na cor Peach. O Boticário diz que tem uma textura suave e ultrafina que adere facilmente à pele, deixando um visual natural que dura até 12 horas.
It comes in a black plastic packaging with a a screw on top that gives you the impression of a magnifying glass, just like the eyeshadows from the same line. I like the fact that the packaging is round and small but am not too fond on the magnifying illusion. The blush is much prettier looking when you look at it with the top off.
Vem numa embalagem de plástico preto com uma tampa de enroscar que nos dá um efeito de lupa, tal como as sombras da mesma linha. Gosto do facto de a embalagem ser redonda e pequena mas não me agrada tanto a ilusão de aumento. O blush é muito mais bonito quando olhamos para ele sem a tampa.
This is a peach shimmering blush with a nice hint of pink. The shimmer flecks, although visible in the swatch above don't translate that much on the skin, so the result is a glowy finish. The pigmentation is very good. Texture wise it is fine but a bit powdery and can look patchy when your blush brush touches your skin. Luckily it blends like a dream. In terms of lasting powder, however, i have to say that it stays on for six or seven hours, not the twelve the brand promised. I've been using this everyday for the past two weeks. It's not necessarily a summer shade but it does look good on a sunny day. I won't be doing a monthly favorites post this month but if I did this blush would definitely be in it.
É um blush pêssego com partículas brilhantes que tem uma boa dose de rosa. As partículas de brilho, embora visíveis no swatch acima, não aparecem no rosto, por isso o resultado é luminoso e não brilhante. A pigmentação é muito boa. Em termos de textura, é fina mas esfarela um pouco e pode não ficar uniforme quando o pincel de blush toca no rosto. Felizmente esfuma lindamente. No entanto, em termos de duração tenho de dizer que em mim durou entre seis a sete horas, não as doze que a marca prometeu. Tenho-o usado todos os dias nas últimas duas semanas. Não é necessariamente uma cor de Verão mas fica muito bem num dia solarengo. Não vou fazer um post de favoritos do mês em Agosto mas se o fizesse este blush estaria lá.
