O Boticário: Blush Orange Gold Make B Lumière

When I first saw this one at the store my heart skipped a beat. I realized that there were no orange blushes on my stash (at the time, I now have three) and I needed one. I NEEDED IT. Suddenly all my pink blushes looked awful on me and it seemed like there was no point on applying blush if it's color wasn't orange. Mind you, I dislike the color orange on most thinks: nail polish, eyeshadow, lipsticks... But this pretty orange blush seemed perfect. I'm talking about Boticário's Compact Blush in Orange Gold that came out with the Make B Lumière line.

Quando vi este menino pela primeira vez numa loja o meu coração parou por um momento. Apercebi-me de que não tinha nenhum blush laranja na minha colecção (na altura, agora tenho três) e precisava de um. PRECISAVA. De repente todos os meus blushes rosa pareciam ficar-me horrivelmente e parecia que nem valia a pena usar blush se este não fosse cor de laranja. Tenham em conta que desgosto da cor laranja na maior parte das coisas: verniz, sombra, batons... Mas este blush laranja parecia perfeito. Falo do Blush Compacto do Boticário na cor Orange Gold que saiu com a linha Make B Lumière.

I've read a lot of reviews calling this coral or pinkish coral but for me its plain orange. Orange in the pan, orange on the swatches and orange when blended on my cheeks. This is a bright orange with light gold shimmer. Don't worry, this isn't so shimmery that will stop you from wearing it during the day.

Li várias resenhas que diziam que ele era coral ou um coral rosado mas para mim ele é apenas laranja. Laranja na embalagem, laranja nos swatches e laranja quando esfumado nas minhas bochechas. É um laranja forte com um leve brilho dourado. Não se preocupem que ele não é tão brilhante que vos vá impedir de o usar durante o dia.

It comes on a black plastic packaging that looks elegant. It's made out of plastic and it feels like it, so don't crazy with this one on your make up bag every single day. It has a small mirror that always comes in handy and on a hidden compartment you'll find this brush. It's has very floppy bristles and is as useless as all blush brushes that usually come with this sort of products. Well, it actually isn't as bad as I thought. I applied the following swatches with it and they didn't turn out that bad. It certainly isn't as good as most blush brushes you may have at home but it may come in handy and is more than okay from touch ups during the day.

Vem numa embalagem preta de plástico que parece elegante. É feita de plástico e nota-se, por isso não dêem uma de loucas com ele na mala todos os dias. Tem um espelho pequeno que dá sempre jeito e num compartimento escondido encontrarão este pincel. Tem cerdas frouxas e não serve de muito, como todas os pincéis de blush que vêm com este tipo de produtos. Bem, na realidade não é tão mau como pensava. Fiz os próximos swatches com ele e nem ficaram assim tão maus. Claro que não é tão bom como a maior parte dos pincéis de blush que devem ter por casa mas pode dar sempre dar jeito e é mais que suficiente para os retoques ao longo do dia.

This baby is very, very, VERY pigmented. The first few times I used it I was careful and still ended up looking like a clown. Its best if you apply it with a stippling brush or if you only have a regular blush brush just press it very gently against the pan and tap off the excess. Once you get the hang of it, you end up with a gorgeous orange blush that compliments all skin tones, from the pale to the dark skin women (or men, don't want to discriminate anyone!). It lasts up to seven hours on me, which is more than most blushes do. So in the end you get a pretty blush with great pigmentation and a nice wear time, which means it will last you for a long, long time (but have you ever finished a blush? I know I haven't...). Boticário delivers to the European continent if you order from the Portuguese website and is priced at 13,99€.

Ele é muito, muito, MUITO pigmentado. Das primeiras vezes que o usei tive cuidado e ainda assim acabei com cara de palhaça. É melhor aplicá-lo com uma stippling brush (qual o nome destes pincéis em português?) ou, se só tiverem um pincel de blush normal, pressionando-o levemente contra o compacto e batendo levemente para remover o excesso. Quando apanham o jeito ficam com um blush laranja lindo que cai bem a todos os tons de pele, das mulheres mais pálidas às mais escuras (ou homens, não quero discriminar ninguém!). Dura até sete horas, que é mais do que a maior parte dos blushes em mim. No final acabam com um blush bonito com uma pigmentação óptima e com boa duração, o que quer dizer que irá durar por muito, muito tempo (mas alguma vez acabaram um blush? Eu pelo menos não...). O Boticário tem lojas por todo o país e um site que faz entregas em toda a Europa. O preço é de 13,99€.

Bourjois: Effet Lumiere Eyeshadow Trio - Golden 47

I don't know much about today's product. I know that Bourjois no longer sells these (at least there is no info about it on the British website) and that these trios came out in different color combinations. This must be a bazillion years old ("five" in makeup world), can't remember where it came from.

Não sei muita coisa sobre o produto de hoje. Sei que a Bourjois já não o vende (pelo menos não há nenhuma informação no site britânico) e que estes trios saíram em várias combinações de cores. Suponho que isto tenha um zilião de anos ("cinco" no mundo da maquiagem) pois não me lembro de onde veio.

This came with a sponge applicator that I must thrown away. The packaging itself if made out of plastic, doesn't feel very sturdy and isn't easy to open at first. I never traveled around with it but I can sense it wouldn't last very long.

Veio com um aplicador de esponja que devo ter deitado fora. A embalagem em si é feita de plástico, não me parece muito resistente e não é fácil de abrir antes de lhe apanharmos o jeito. Nunca a levei em viagens mas tenho a sensação de que não duraria muito.

Without primer // Sem primer

The first color, despite what may seem in the second pic, looks about the same with or without a primer. As an highlighter it looks okay if you want a wash of color but if you want a more opaque look this may not be the best since it can turn a bit chalky. The second color is a dark gold and the last is a brownish copper and both of them are nicely pigmented and have a very pretty satin finish.

In terms of wearing time, these were decent when used above a primer. By themselves they'd crease around the four hour mark but were able to last three more hours when used with a primer with little fading. They were all smooth and easy to blend, being the highlighter the least buttery. Yeah, I guess that if you took the highlighter and replaced it with a similar color with better quality I'd love this trio. If that one wasn't chalky the only problem would be the cheap packaging. Nonetheless, I really like the other two colors and will be using them way more now.

A primeira cor, embora não o pareça na segunda fotografia, fica igual com ou sem primer. Enquanto iluminador fica bem se quisermos algo suave mas se procurarem algo mais opaco esta pode não ser a melhor escolha visto que fica um pouco com aspecto de "gesso". A segunda cor é um ouro escuro e a última um cobro acastanhado e ambas têm uma boa pigmentação e um acabamento acetinado bem bonito.

Quanto à duração, esta foi decente quando usada em cima de um primer. Sozinhas acumulavam-se nas dobras dos olhos à volta da quarta hora mas com primer ainda duravam mais umas três sem que a cor desvanecesse muito. São todas suaves e fáceis de esfumar, sendo que a iluminadora era a menos "cremosa". Bem, suponho que se tirassem a iluminadora e a substituissem por uma cor semelhante mas de qualidade superior eu amaria este trio de sombras. Se aquela não se assemelhasse a gesso o único problema estaria na embalagem de má qualidade. Ainda assim, gosto muito das outras duas cores e vou usá-las muito mais agora.

MAC: Pro Longwear concealer

What I look for in a concealer is high coverage and long wear. I have very heavy under-eye circles and I need a product that stays put for at least 12 hours. Because of this, I had really high hopes when buying MAC's Pro Longwear concealer. The brand describes it as:

A lightweight fluid concealer that provides medium to full coverage with a comfortable, natural matte finish. Colour-true formula lasts up to 15 hours. Helps conceal and correct the look of under-eye circles, and discolorations. Comes in a clear glass vial with a matte black pump.

Aquilo que procuro num corrector é uma alta cobertura e uma longa duração. Tenho olheiras muito profundas e preciso de um produto que fique no sítio por 12 horas. Por isso, tinha altas expectativas quando comprei o Pro Longwear concealer da MAC. A marca descreve-o como:

Um correctivo líquido e leve que garante cobertura média a alta com um acabamento matte confortável e natural. Permanece intacto até 15 horas. Ajuda a disfarçar e a corrigir olheiras e descolorações. Vem num frasco de vidro transparente com um um dispensador preto matte.

 

I picked the shade NW20 and that I find that it is perfect for me in the sunnier months. The product itself is liquid but not runny.

It is impossible to write about this concealer without mentioning it's pump. You have to be very careful when pressing it because the dispenser can be very hard and give you a ton of product. More than half of the times I find myself with 5x the amount of product I need in the back of my hand and because I little goes a long way with this one you find yourself trowing away most of it. This is obviously a problem that MAC should fix but if you already bought one, the trick is to dispense it to a sample jar. That way you can save all the product that came out and use it for several days. Another problem with the packaging is the fact that it is made out of very thing glass. This is actually the second time I've bought, I let the first one fall on the floor and it broke in a million pieces.

Trouxe a cor NW20 e acho-a perfeita para estes meses com sol. O produto em si é líquido mas não demasiado fluido.

É impossível escrever sobre este correctivo sem falar do doseador. É preciso ter imenso cuidado ao pressioná-lo porque o doseador é muito pesado e dá imenso produto. Mais de metade das vezes acabou com cinco vezes mais que a quantidade necessária nas costas das mãos, e como é só preciso um bocadinho para cobrir os dois olhos acabava por deitar fora a maior parte. É claro que isto é um problema que a MAC deve corrigir mas se já tens um em casa, o truque é despejar o que quer que saia do doseador para um frasquinho de amostras. Assim podes guardar tudo o que sai e usá-lo noutros dias. Outro problema com a embalagem é o facto de ser feita de um vidro deveras fininho. Na verdade, esta é a segunda vez que compro este correctivo. Na primeira deixei cair o frasco no chão e este partiu-se em milhões de pedacinhos.

Excuse me for the tiny pictures. I'm having problems with Photobucket, the website I'm using to store and do some basic editing of my photos. Whenever I crop them I also reduce their size drastically, which was something that didn't happen with Google's Picnik (the one I used before). Do any you have any tips? Please? How do you edit your photos (and please don't mention Photoshop)?

Desculpem as fotografias minúsculas. Estou a ter problemas com o Photobucket, o site que estou a usar para arquivar e fazer umas edições básicas às minhas fotografias. Sempre que tento usar a ferramenta crop também reduzo drasticamente o tamanho das imagens, algo que não acontecia com o Picnik da Google (que era o que usava antes). Alguém tem dicas? Por favor? Como é que editam as vossas fotografias (e por favor não me falem do Photoshop)?

What I get is a medium coverage but I do have darker under-eye circles than most people I know and I often need more than concealer. The long wearing promises are true, it stays put for 12 hours easy and it wont move or crease. You need to be very fast when applying and blending it and do one eye at a time because this dries quickly and once it does, it wont move. I found that the best way to apply it is with a regular concealer brush (like MAC's 195).

Thing is, I can see this working amazingly well on people with normal under-eye circles with normal to oily skin. To those with deeper under-eye circles, dry skin or many fine lines, this may not be the best choice. If you need better coverage you may find yourself reaching for a peach corrector before applying this one. That was what I tried doing but it didn't work well, this concealer turns cakey whenever I apply it over any other product (such as correctors or liquid foundations). It also emphasized my dry skin and fine lines but that was manageable with a good moisturizer before.

No final consigo uma cobertura média mas eu tenho olheiras mais profundas que a maior parte das pessoas que conheço e geralmente preciso de mais do que correctivo. As promessas de longa duração são verdadeiras, fica no sítio até 12 horas na boa, não se mexe, não acumula e não desvanece. Há que ser muito rápida ao aplicar e ao esbater e fazer um olho de cada vez pois ele seca muito depressa e uma vez seco, não se mexe. Acabei por achar que a melhor forma de o aplicar é com um pincel de correctivo tradicional (tipo o 195 da MAC).

A questão é, consigo ver isto a funcionar lindamente em pessoas com olheiras normais e com pele tipo normal ou oleoso. Para aqueles com olheiras mais fortes, pele seca ou muitas pequenas linhas, esta pode não ser a melhor escolha. Se precisares de uma cobertura mais forte é natural que procures um corrector em tons de pêssego antes de aplicar este correctivo. Foi isso que tentei mas não correu bem, este correctivo craquela sempre que o aplico em cima de outro produto (seja um corrector, seja uma base líquida). Também tornou mais visível a minha pele seca e as linhas à volta dos olhos mas isso foi controlável com o uso de um bom hidratante antes.

- It has the worst packaging in concealer history

- Those with deeper under-eye circles will need more coverage

- It doesn't work that well over other products

All in all, I thinks this will be a good concealer for those with regular eye circles because once you get used to the quick application and the need to dispense the product onto a sample jar, you'll get a high coverage concealer that lasts you all day with very little product. But if you're like me, you'll still need something with higher coverage or that works better on top of other products. It's a shame because I really like how comfortable this feels despite being matte and long wearing.

Tendo tudo em conta, acho que é um bom correctivo para quem tem olheiras normais, pois uma vez apreendidos os truques de aplicação rápida e do uso de um frasco de amostras, ficarão com um correctivo de cobertura alta que dura o dia todo com pouco produto. Mas se forem como eu, precisarão de uma cobertura mais elevada ou de algo que funcione em conjunto com outros produtos. É uma pena pois gosto mesmo do facto de ser confortável apesar de ser matte e de longa duração.

1. The last couple of months // Os últimos meses

The last couple of months have been crazy but great. I had a broken heart the last time I wrote a post like this and was about to leave my ex-boyfriends place to go share a flat with a woman I din't knew that well. The first two weeks where awfull, with me crying almost every day, not eating and plain miserable. My ex-boyfriend stop talking to me and I finally realized it was over for good. I began going out with my friends and with my house mate D., meet new and interesting people, having a lot of fun with someone in particular and relearning to have fun and be happy by myself.

You know those Hollwood movies where a girl's hearth gets broken, she feels really depressed for a while, then meets a guy who'll show her that she really is single and that it is quite fun and all of the sudden the ex comes back telling her that he made a huge mistake and that he loves her deeply? You know, those things that only happen in the movies that can only happen to one in a million? Yeah, it happened to me. Not really sure what I wan't to do but I'm putting myself first and that's all that matters.

Os últimos meses foram loucos mas muito bons. Estava a sofrer um desgosto de amor da última vez que escrevi um post destes e estava prestes a abandonar a casa do meu namorado para ir viver com uma mulher que não conhecia assim tão bem. As primeiras duas semanas foram horríveis, comigo a chorar quase que diariamente, a não comer e a sentir-me miserável. O meu ex-namorado parou de falar comigo e aí percebi que estava tudo acabado de vez. Comecei a sair com os meus amigos e com a minha colega de casa D., a conhecer gente nova e interessante, a divertir-me muito com uma pessoa em particular e a reaprender a divertir-me e a ser feliz sozinha.

Sabem aqueles filmes de Hollywood nos quais uma rapariga passa por um desgosto de amor, sente-se muito deprimida durante algum tempo, conhece um homem que lhe vai mostrar que está mesmo solteira e que isso até é divertido e de repente o ex regressa a dizer-lhe que cometeu um erro enorme e que a ama imenso? Sabem aquela coisa que só acontece no cinema e a um num milhão? Pois, aconteceu-me. Não estou certa do que quero fazer mas sei que me estou a pôr em primeiro lugar e isso é tudo o que importa.

All of the sudden I realized that I am surrounded by bike-lovers. Not just people that drive a bicycle during the weekend but real bike enthusiasts: people who go to work everyday on their bikes, who take part of events like the Critical Mass in Lisbon and that try actively to engage everyone around them in the bike spirit. Well, I guess they got me. I am living in a neighborhood in the center of Lisbon so it's easy for me to go everywhere I need on a bike as long as I plan the exact route. I need a lot of exercise and biking would be a nice way to do it. Lisbon is known for it's seven hills and it's awful drivers but if other people can do it, why can't I? I haven't actually bought a bike yet, I am still trying to figure out which type is the best for me. The part that scares me the most is the traffic part but my friends already planed some easy routes for us to do on my first days as a biker.

Subitamente apercebi-me de que estou rodeada por amantes de bicicletas. Não são apenas pessoas que andam de bicicleta aos fins-de-semana mas verdadeiros entusiastas da bicla: pessoas que vão trabalhar todos os dias de bicicleta, que participam em eventos como a Massa Crítica em Lisboa e que tentam de forma activa envolver todas as pessoas à sua volta no espírito das bicicletas. Bem, parece que me convenceram. Estou a viver num bairro no centro da cidade por isso é fácil chegar à maior parte dos sítios de bicicleta desde que planeie bem o trajecto. Preciso de muito exercício e esta parece-me uma boa forma de o fazer. Lisboa é conhecida pelas suas sete colinas e pelos seus maus condutores mas se os outros conseguem fazê-lo, eu também consigo. Ainda não comprei a bicicleta, ainda estou a tentar perceber qual será a melhor para mim. Aquilo que mais me assusta é a ideia de andar no meio do trânsito mas os meus amigos já prepararam alguns percursos fáceis para fazermos nos meus primeiros dias como ciclista.

3. Ray Ban Wayfarer

I always liked sunglasses but never actually owned a single pair. At first I didn't now which ones I liked or what would suit my face format so I ended up putting off the idea of buying ones. Then I fell in love with quite a few but began facing a new problem: my face is too small. I prefer normal to large frames but only the small ones would suit my face. Everything I tried would be abnormally large on me and I would end up looking silly instead of cool. Even sales people would tell them they were too large for me. Then a friend of mine suggest looking at the kids section. Geez, that was an embarrassing suggestion... but he forced me to try ones on and they fit. Children section sunglasses fitted my face perfectly. I decided to deal with that fact latter and bought these black Ray Ban Waifarers. I like how they look on me but haven't been using them that much.

Sempre gostei de óculos de sol mas nunca tive um único par. Inicialmente não sabia de quais mais gostava ou que tipo de armação ficava bem com o formato do meu rosto, por isso acabei adiando a ideia de comprar uns. Depois apaixonei-me por uns quantos mas comecei a deparar-me com um novo problema: o meu rosto é demasiado pequeno. Gosto de óculos de tamanho normal a grande mas só os pequenos me assentavam no rosto. Tudo o que experimentava ficava anormalmente grande em mim e acabava por parecer tola ao invés de fixe. Até os vendedores me diziam que eles eram demasiado grandes para mim. Depois um amigo sugeriu que desse uma vista de olhos à secção infantil. Bolas, foi uma sugestão embaraçosa... mas ele forçou-me a experimentar alguns e eles cabiam perfeitamente no meu rosto. Óculos de sol de criança cabem no meu rosto de forma perfeita. Decidi lidar com isso mais tarde e comprei uns Waifarer da Ray Ban de cor preta. Gosto de como me ficam mas não os tenho usado muito.

5. Pride "month" // O "mês" do orgulho

Gender and sexual rights are something that speaks very close to me and so for the past eight or nine years I've been taking part of Lisbon's Pride Parade. The one in Lisbon was on last month's 23rd but the one in Oporto is today (so if you're near make sure you stop by). One thing I like about our demonstrations is that they are in fact demonstrations and not parades. I mean, you see most pride parades all over the world and they are full of brands and nightclubs and people are partying and not demanding equal rights (I'm talking about the majority of the demonstrators, not all). In Portugal the parade is way more political. Of course you have music and people having fun nonetheless but most activists are aware that you can party any other day of the year so they pay particular attention to this one, politically speaking.

Os direitos sexuais e de género foram sempre coisas que me foram muito caras, por isso nos últimos oito ou nove anos tenho marcado presença na Marcha do Orgulho de Lisboa. A lisboeta foi a 23 do mês passado mas a do Porto é hoje (por isso, se estiveres perto, dá lá um saltinho). Uma coisa que me agrada nas nossas manifestações é o facto de elas serem realmente manifestações e não desfiles. Quer dizer, ao ver a maior parte das marchas por esse mundo fora vemos que elas estão cheias de marcas e de discotecas e as pessoas estão a festejar e não a exigir direitos iguais (refiro-me à maior parte e não a todos). Em Portugal a marcha é muito mais política. É claro que há música e as pessoas divertem-se à mesma mas a maior parte dos activistas tem consciência de que é possível festejar em qualquer outro dia do ano e consequentemente prestam mais atenção a este, a nível político, claro.

Urban Decay: Deluxe Shadow Box palette

My house mate keeps all her makeup in the bathroom and since we've been living together I obviously wasn't able to resist taking a peak (with her permission, of course). From her stash what really caught my attention was this eyeshadow palette from Urban Decay that the wonderful internet tells me it's named Deluxe Shadow Box Palette. I'd never tried any of UD's eyeshadows before so I grabbed these as fast as I could.

Beware that D., my house mate, isn't as obsessed with makeup as I am and so this palette was in really bad shap. Trust me, it was way dirtier before, I actually cleaned it for the pics. The ones with more sensitive hearts must beware...

A minha colega de casa guarda toda a sua maquiagem na casa de banho e desde que cá estou que não resisti a dar uma vista de olhos (sim, com autorização dela). Aquilo que mais me chamou a atenção foi esta paleta de olhos da Urban Decay que eu não conhecia mas que a maravilhosa internet me diz ser a Deluxe Shadow Box Palette. Nunca tinha experimentado as sombras de olhos da UD e por isso caí em cima desta assim que pude. 

Atenção que a D., minha colega de casa, não dá tanta importância à maquiagem como eu e que por isso esta paleta estava em mau estado. Eu limpei-a para as fotografias, ela estava pior. Os corações mais sensíveis que tenham cuidado...

The palette comes with nine colors that are part of the permanent collection and that can be bought separately. The again wonderful internet tells me that this is (was?) on sale with two sponge applicators and with a miniature of the brand's Primer Potion. Not a big fan of the velvet packaging on top but the rest is sturdy enough.  

All swatches were made with no primer. I never use eyeshadow without a primer but found myself without one at home when taking the pictures (they were at my parent's, still have a lot of products to finish before buying a new one). Anyhow, it's always nice to know what's the pigmentation and lasting power of the shadows by themselves. 

A paleta vem com nove cores que fazem parte da linha permanente. A (novamente) maravilhosa internet diz-me que ela está (estava?) à venda com dois pincéis de esponjinha e com uma miniatura do Primer Potion. Não sou grande fã do veludo do topo da embalagem mas o resto é suficientemente robusto.

Todos os swatches foram feitos sem primer de olhos. Eu não uso sombras sem passar o primer antes mas dei por mim sem nenhum em casa na altura das fotografias (estavam em casa dos meus pais, ainda tenho muitos produtos para despachar antes de poder comprar algo novo). De qualquer modo, é sempre bom ver qual a pigmentação e duração das sombras sozinhas.

Fishnet: sorta duochrome mix of pink and purple. The original color is somewhere between this pic and the one above and the duochrome effect is more visible in person, specially over a primer. Of the whole palette, this one has the weakest pigmentation, had to pack a bit more than I did with the others to get what you see in the pic.

Honey: a very shinny and pretty gold that looks way better over a primer, by itself it's no fun. The honey was well picked.

Ransom: a blue with a hint of purple (that you can see in the following pic). Can't see myself using something like this but i think it's gorgeous.

Fishnet: é meio que duochrome numa mistura de rosa e roxo. A cor original fica algures entre a que se vê aqui e a da fotografia acima e o efeito duochrome é mais visível ao vivo, sobretudo com primer por baixo. De todas é a que tem pigmentação mais fraca, tive que carregar ligeiramente mais que nas outras para obter o que se vê na fotografia;

Honey: é um ouro muito brilhante e bonito mas que deve muita da sua graça a um primer por baixo, usado sozinho não tem muita piada. O nome ("mel") foi bem escolhido;

Ransom: é um azul com uma pitada de roxo (que podem ver na fotografia seguinte). Não me vejo a usar uma cor destas mas acho-a linda;

Grafiti: a very vivid green (that looks darker with a primer), also very pretty but less pigmented than the others;

Zero: it's a shimmery black; quite interesting but I wish it was more pigmented - although it works well with primer;

Peace: a light blue and more vivid in person than what you can see in the photo; another one of those that I find gorgeous but I'd never wear.

Graffiti: é um verde (mais escuro com primer) bem vívido, também muito bonito mas com menos pigmentação que as outras;

Zero: um preto ligeiramente cintilante; interessante mas gostava que fosse mais pigmentada - embore funcione bem com um primer;

Peace: Azul clarinho e bem mais forte ao vivo que na fotografia. Mais um daqueles que acho lindos mas que não usaria;

Shag: a copper that looks very pretty with it's metallic finish;

Scratch: metallic champagne rose;

Underground: a gorgeous metallic taupe; these last three shadows are my favorites by far!

They all have a soft and creamy texture and are easy to blend. These shadows have shimmer but no glitter (thankfully...). There was a bit of a fallout with Fishnet and Zero when pressing the brush onto the shadow but I didn't think it was a big deal. A "loud" eyeshadow look is not my thing and I find it hard to create a look using only what is in here. I'd definitely put a highlighter somewhere in there, perhaps a matte too.

Surprisingly, the neutral colors are the ones packed with more pigment. Fishnet, Ransom and Zero are the less pigmented of the palette and the better ones are Shag, Underground and Scratch (and you can see that D. agrees with me, right?). As I said, I only use eyeshadow over a primer so I can't say that any of these shadows has lower quality and they lasted the same time as others from MAC or such. Also found that they tend to crease easily when used without a primer so it's nice that this comes with a mini Primer Potion

Têm todas uma textura suave e cremosa e são fáceis de esbater. Têm todas brilho mas (felizmente) nenhum glitter. Houve alguma queda com a Fishnet e a Zero ao pressionar o pincel sobre a sombra mas nada de especial. Um look de olhos mais "forte" e colorido não é bem a minha onda e acho difícil de criar um look usando apenas as cores que aqui vêm. Tinha de misturar ali um iluminador e talvez um matte também.

Surpreendentemente, são as três cores neutras que têm melhor pigmentação. A Ransom, a Fishnet e a Zero são as três menos pigmentadas, sendo as melhores a Shag, a Underground e a Scratch (e dá para perceber que a D. concorda, não é?). Tal como disse, só uso sombras com primer por isso não posso dizer que nenhuma seja realmente má e a duração delas foi equivalente às que costumo ter com outras marcas como a MAC. Mas achei que se acumulam facilmente sem primer por isso é bom que venha com um mini Primer Potion.
